Hi, I’m Dr. Nadia monique johnson

I am a consultant, speaker, mental health advocate and educator. I have over 20 years of experience as a trainer, nonprofit founder/leader and university instructor. I develop signature programs that equip clients to move towards an action-oriented understanding of leadership, team coordination and conflict resolution.

I have worked with corporations, public agencies, nonprofit organizations, and higher education institutions. I frequently speak on a variety of issues relative to creating healthy workplaces, effective communication skills, team building and empowered leadership. I also provide executive coaching on policy, procedure and diversity strategy.

My Approach

Leadership requires deep communication. Communication requires awareness. Awareness is not a destination; it is a journey. It requires a life-long commitment to learn, grow and adjust. My approach to these efforts is intentional and action oriented.

Intentionality

Awareness efforts require intentionality and responsiveness. Education is just the first step in this direction. I lead clients through a series of development exercises that tap into their personal understanding of self and connects them to the larger task of establishing organizational culture. I intentionally encourage proactive conflict resolution while creating a safe environment for clients to grow.

Action-Oriented

In order to be effective, policies, programs and trainings must be action-oriented. This requires on-going assessment and accountability. If done correctly, culture shifts. I provide clients with strategies to move beyond a surface level leadership approach towards an action-oriented understanding of team management, organizational culture and empowered leadership.
